Mission Statement:
Let me begin by saying I feel so strongly about having a town web site that is not bias toward any political party. A web site that is informative and kept up-to-date with important information about Oxford Connecticut that everyone visiting this site will find something of interest for them. I believe that Oxford is one of the most out-standing Towns in all of the USA where it is small enough to be called a "small town" yet its' big in heart and filled with pride by all its residents. Soon, I will take it upon myself to revamp this site, to keep it up to date with information which is important to all its residents and all the web site visitors. This I promise will be done on a “not for profit” basis. It will have private business ads free of charge, town meeting minutes posted on regular bases, hopefully streaming videos of important committee meetings where available funds will make it possible, civic groups’ postings, contact information for Town Hall officials and a suggestion box or comments for web site visitors.
